Good to see you here again, nuadventurer34.
I've started playing a game that I received as a gift: SimCity4. What a challenge. I have not played a sim game on the PC since 2001. It took me about 8 hours to finally get my first city to make a profit.
It's been fun!

Not sure. I've been checking out the comp system and the most likely culprit is my graphics card. Everything else looks like it meets, or exceeds, the requirements for playing the game. My comp is a couple of years old, so I don't see why I should bother getting a new card, if that is indeed the problem.

i've spend a lot of time playing "Supreme commander'. its a fun rts game, but alas it gets boring after a while. i love how its scale is much bigger than other rts'es i played lately.
anyway now i will have a week of non-playing to prepare for some tests

A slight update to my gear list:
Xbox 360
The games recently:
- Hexic - just love this game, highly recommended to all fans of puzzles
- Splinter Cell: Double Agent - this offers nothing new but Sam Fisher is still Sam Fisher. Amazing graphics though.
- Doom (yeah, on X360)
- Aliens vs. Predator 2 - pure bliss when playing as Alien (poor marines, didn't have a chance)
- Enemy Territory
- Tony Hawk 4 (this is still one of my all time favourities, maybe I should check the TH8 and all the other TH-games that has been published after the TH4)
Want list:
Rise of the Dead - tried the demo and was hooked instantly

Good for you, Ante!

If only you were retired and had move time to game.
I've started playing a free online RPG called
PlaneShift. . . another 'first' for me. It is a beta version so there are some bugs, but I've found some helpful people to give me some tips.

i just finished playing Jade Empire. what a wonderfulll game.its an action rpg, but i think many an adventure fan might like it as well, since there is plenty of stuff to explore. there is plenty of fighting which at first i hated, but when i learned it was rather fun. but the best thing i liked is interesting storyline.

Just finished a the second tier of Dead Rising on Xbox 360. Now playing F.E.A.R. - what a crap (
http://picasaweb.google.fi/ante.mulari/VideoGameStupidity) , but let's see if it could offer something new anyway. Somehow I've hooked on Sudoku (Dr Somethings Brain Training). Great way to kill time on my way to work.
