Now we have no snow here. it was dark and snowles x-mas this year.

I'm on a sick leave until the end of the july 2007. Kids have started (ido not know the word) anyway, there is a older woman who takes care of them in the daytime, so I can relax and take care of myself to make the depression to go away.

Check out our x-mas pics http://kotisivu.dnainternet.net/marron/

There is no special reason for my depression. I spent three weeks in a mental hospital in Nowember, beacause I was depressed and very distressed. I didn't wash myself, my hair or change clothes in a week. Now I have good medicines and I'm doing better day by day. I have to accept that with depression it takes time heal completely.

I have seen a documentary on tv about Scandinavian people who are suffering because of daylight loss in winter time...
People from the North are more or less depressive because of this...
One solution is to exposed yourself to an artificial light in special centres during several hours... it seems it works...

I don't really think everyone with a depression is really weak actually..
I read once about a woman who had a depression because her brain couldn't produce that substance that makes you happy and gives you energy.. I think life would be easier if all depressions came because of that, because then doctors know what is needed to be done..

I hope you'll get well soon.

It's just general information - doesn't hurt to know the facts. (or in case of Wikipedia, doesn't hurt to check from the reliable source as well)

Sunich, depression is not the thing you choose to have. It is somekind of disorder in the brains. Lack of some some substanse.

Pif, winter can also start depressin here in north, but in my case it is not the cause.

Good things in life:
A new house
kids are healthy
I am healthy (despite little distressed feeling, I have)
We have no financial problems
ADSL
Friends, like Ante who call time to time and ask how I'm feeling

There are plenty of things that makes me happy. Tell me what makes you happy?

Just to be alive.
and friends, not being ill or sick, the things I've got... everything/everyone I like/love

There was a discussion going on, on the danish community site Arto, where a girl wrote that she didn't believe that there were real(ly) happy (when I say happy I mean when you're not just glad for some reason) people
I answered that I am real and I am happy.
And she asked if there wasn't anything I wanted to change, and I said yes, but such thing do not have an effect on my generel happiness.
Then she wrote that I wasn't happy, I was just satisfied with what I got  But I don't need 1.000.000 or the perfect life to be happy.

Brown is a lovely colour :o
