Just got an SMS from my sister saying "You're the best big brother. Love and hugs" - G - quess I did something right when I arranged a surprice birthday party for my sister at some very fascinating place (since it took a 15 minute boat trip from harbour to get there in the first place).

Do you remember when...

...you learned to read?
...bought first time from the grocery store (or used money in general)?
...got your first telephone (cellular preferably)?
...got drivers license?
...got your first business card from the company you're working for?

Yes, that happened today! Makes me feel a bit older.

Yes Ante,
i perfectly understand what you mean...
Each step you are describing is the way for a man to become a real man...
Can't speak about the way to become a real woman... i do not have any experience in this matter... sorry hehe...
Gail ?

All of the above apply to me too. That first business card with my name on it felt great. :D Congratulations to you, Ante. 8)

Hope you don't mind if I add to your list.

Ok, Pifou. Here are some thoughts from a woman's point of view.

Do you remember ....
Your first kiss?
Seeing the sun set or rise on the water for the first time?
Your first live band concert?
Your first vacation or holiday without a parent?

I've always thought it was the quantity of testosterone that decided if a human can be a 'real' man. or even just a man at all.. But now I can see it's not that simple

Congratulations, Ante!

it's not a question of "testosteron" to become a real man V.N.
it's a question of humility and reflexion by yourself about what human being is...
it's just a question of your own responsability that you can feel inside yourself or you cannot !...
Kate Walker is the perfect example of a wife that take the right decisions... imo...
She's human and take care about all matter that concerns life in general... she's a wife, she's a mother, she's your sister... she's the founder of humanity...
just remember dear friend... she's a chance for us and must say -> i respect a lot...

love

How to spend a weekend - lay in bed.

This weekend I did absolutely nothing. Besides surfing in the net and watching South Park. Felt like there are no energy left at all. On Saturday I fell a sleep around 3pm and at six my sister came to pay a visit and woke me up. It's really strange when you wake up at that time. I was like "yes, it's a six o'clock - is it a morning or evening?" And then returned back to my bed.

Work is complicated and annoying at the moment and causes me stress. I'd like to have another holiday just now. For a week at least. I wonder how many of us actually like our jobs.

I hate when people wake me up in my spare time, unless it's very important.. but visits are always great :D .. almost..

I kind of spent the holidays being a maladjusted teenager in my best age of puberty.

Ante, if you feel stressed you schoul take some holidays, stress is (can be very) dangerous...
