World's largest Windows error message:

Image

We went down to New York for the long weekend. Despite the 16-degree weather, we walked down to Times Square - all the bright lights lured us the ten blocks from our hotel. When we got there, we stood like, well, tourists, gaping at all the electronic billboards. And then, across the square, I saw it: the world's largest Windows error message - on a two-story high e-billboard (I guess everything really is bigger in New York). It was the only billboard in the entire square with absolutely no movement - since the PC running it had obviously frozen.

Thanks to the Winter Olympics

This summarizes the reason I like being Finnish! We don't waste our facial muscles by smiling. Especially Janne Ahonen - 2nd on the right is famous of not expressing his joy at the award ceremonies.

Let's bring back this thread.

I stumbled upon (remember, I was talking about Stumbleupon a while ago) to a collection of architectural photos from Paris. Take a look:

Then I thought about the idea of Syberia fan meeting again. If I just could get up and do something about it...

That link was very good. :D Thanks, Ante. I saw pics from all over the world. The US needs to take notes from Paris before building their streets. ;)

I really enjoyed the paintings that were included of the streets too. 8)

Nice pics Ante,
Thank you very much to share with us...
Last week-end, friends of mine saw them and liked them very much.
But you must know that it is not possible anymore to live in Paris today because of price level...
All the most beautiful appartments in Paris are now the property of Saoudi Arabians and rich Americans... sorry

Here are beautiful pictures of China...

Hugs Friends

A site that really fits to the topic. These artworks remind me of the booklet art of Smashing Pumpkins album "Machina". Absurd and lovely. Let me know if you have seen similiar stuff lately.

The Earth

Breath taking stuff - especially when I remember the days in Lanzarote and now that I see the size of the island compared to the surrounding Atlantic Ocean. And not to forget the Swiss Alps.

Those sports pics proved to me that European football is MUCH more interesting to watch.

The Earth pics were excellent, Ante.
