How long do U think was the trip from Aralbad to Romansburg?

Postby Silver Cougar » Tue 20 Jun 2006 08:01

Hey guys I haven't posted on here in while and if you don't know already I did find a job after my parents bugged me a bit. I found a job at my local Target store and have been working there ever since December of last year. Now with that out of the way here's my question: How long do you think in distance of time and measurement and so forth do you think it took Kate and company to make their trip between Aralbad and Romansburg? I think it took a couple weeks like maybe 23 days so that would make it so Syberia 2 took place in May and/or June. What do you guys think? Also BTW, it's good to see you guys again.  :D

Your guess of a few weeks for the journey seems about right, Silver Cougar.

Congrats on finding a job and welcome back too! :D
Do you visit the video game section in the store often?

Two weeks is my guess but due the nature of Syberia it might be a couple of days :)

They arrive in Romansburg in September so that would be about 5 months..

I also guess it would take 2-3 weeks but they probably had problems there too, and them in New York say that Kate has been gone for weeks, and besides it's not all trains that needs winding again and again..

Or maybe I just missed that part of the game..

The timeline says:

20 April 2002 Kate meets Hans Voralberg (82 years) in Aralbad
5 September 2002 Helena Romanski passed away
14 September 2002 Kate Walker in Romansburg

The problem is that a) no matter what - even if they went by feet - it couldn't take so long and b) Mr. Marson was really jumpy already when Kate was in Aralbad. So why would he forget Kate for four months and then suddenly start to look for her again. Take a look at the timeline on my site.

In fact I do visit that section of the store often to see what kind of stuff they got over there. I've bought at least 4 or 5 games from that section of the store and they are good quality and good priced.
