This weekend I've been playing Silent Hill 3 and GTA: Vice City (Xbox)

At first I had my doupts of GTA:VC but according to what I've seen so far I like the game. The area is obviously microscopic compared to GTA:SA but I don't care. The things I really miss from the San Adreas are 1) free camera and 2) ability to swim. Damn. This area is surrounded by water! The third annoyance is main characters inability to climb over small fences. You need to find an opening to move on - frustrating. The other aspects from SA I don't miss - like fast food joints, buying clothes and gym.

Silent Hill 3 is, on the other hand, pure bliss. It's creepy, really well done and full of mysteries, secrets, religious mumbo jumbo and action! It's one of those games that make you think. Foremost things like "What the hell is going on", "What is this place", "Who is the main character", "What's happening", "Why?!", and so on. Eventually, as I felt after finishing SH2, the game left you more questions than answers.

I am currently playing GTA: Liberty City Stories for the PS2.
Pretty cool but some of the missions are tough.

Now playing The Psychonauts, a game from the creator of The Grim Fandango, Tim Schafer. So far this has been enjoyable. The genre is action adventure - so in this game you can die, and yes, you need probably a gamepad in order to play this game on PC. The game borrows ideas from here and there. For example in one mission you are hunting a sniper from an old red brick book warehouse - direct reference to the murder of John F Kennedy. The game is a bit tricky but generally I recommend you to try it if you have played any action adventures before (like Jak & Daxter series).

I started to replay Runaway, road adventure.
This time I have played more adventure games than the first time I played it. I notised that I'm more critical. I hate that pixel-hunting and there are too many cut-scenes in the game. Good game anyway :)

hey, Ante. that game you're playing is a masterpiece in terms of graphics! i played it for a while, but then left it somehow. but what stroke me is developer's imagiation & artistic part... true eyecandy.
Senta, even though it's a pixel hunting thing, it's ADVENTURE game. :)

and i'm playing Heroes 5 like a madman... love it love it love it :)

Recently I've played the following games: Dreamfall (TLJ2), Scratches (Horrer game about a 1970's British author who buys an old Victorian House that "might" be haunted), BloodRayne 2, Shattered Union (revolves around a Second American Civil in the year 2014). All very good games. 8) :D

I finished Final Fantasy VI. What a game. At one moment I thought I would never finish it but ahhh.. the awesomeness of it. This is the third Final Fantasy I finished, I am in love with this series. (I will soon play Final Fantasy X, I bought it but I waited for some free time) :D

Divine Divinity is another game which I enjoyed tremendously, its music and its depth were amazing. A great Belgian RPG. A must I must say. ;)

I also finished Warcraft I: Orcs and Humans one more time and this was also as a kind of preparation. I am buying World of Warcraft today. :D

Krysie - I might help you out. Just tell where exactly you are. Are you playing with a gamepad?

Lately I've been playing GBA games such as Metroid Fusion, Advance Wars, Super Mario Bros 4 (that's Mario Bros and Super Mario Bros 2 - two games in one), Golden Sun and Puzzle Fighter. On PC I've proceeded with Warcraft 3 Regin of Chaos.

Hey Ante :D Thanks!

I'm playing it on the Playstation 2. I'm stuck in the asylum (sp?) where Carla had to talk to that one crazy guy who was strapped to the chair.
The lights are out and I've finally learned how to get her to breathe, I just don't know where to go and don't know what to do because I get her to walk around and am still getting the "Nooooo" scene. Argh  lol.

Edit: Oh my, I FINALLY got passed that part. Woohoo
Although, I stuck again...
I'm playing the part where Lucas is a little boy again and he stuck out of his house with Markus. I keep getting caught by the guards. :?
