What kind of puzzles will S3 feature?

Now being full 3D, will there be some new aspect to puzzle design?

I had fun in person with disentanglement puzzle, (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disentanglement_puzzle)

I've found this one (but never play with it) which it would be cool to appear in Syberia III because it's mechanical and...
as part of automaton's mech body.

  1. Are there any specialised puzzles which require third dimension to solve? Basically, the ones which can't be solved in 2D.
  2. What is your favorite types of puzzles in games?
  3. Do you want the adventure game to be puzzle heavy or lite?

I've already discussed the differences in puzzle interface under the thread titled Gameplay Differences. Whether there will be any differences in the puzzles beyond interface difference, only Microids can tell you that.

  1. Yes. There are such puzzles. Whether there will be any in Syberia 3 is another question that only Microids can answer.
  2. My favorite type is probably mechanical, and the puzzles should be integrated into the environment. All the puzzles in Riven had a reason for being there to the inhabitants of the game world; they weren't arbitrary, random puzzles thrown in just to give the player something to solve.
  3. Puzzle heavy. Puzzles got such short shrift in Syberia 2 that Microids has a lot to make up for in that department.
