A1 GP

Last night, I watched the A1 Grandprix of Dubai. It's a racing competition represented by nations of the world.

Again, Team France wins, but this time... clawing back from a disastrous (well, relatively) 7th from the sprint race.

Switzerland was going to win, but an ill-timed pitstop during the safety car period, a pitstop disaster, and a drive-through penalty killed Neel Jani's hope for a second win (and first feature race victory).

Feature Race Results:
A1 Team Driver Time
1 France Nicolas Lapierre 56.17.068

At the US Grand Prix in Laguna Seca, Mexico wins both the Sprint and the Feature race with France taking 2nd at the sprint and retiring at the feature race.

But the bigger news here is that France has sealed the A1 championship by taking 2nd place in the second to the last race of the season.
