The weather was not excellent (a little bit windy, then rain, then sunshine...). However, it was really refreshing that we escaped from the everyday routine..!!!

Senta I am glad that you finally got some free time..!!! 8)

Gail, I have missed you.. :)

Vivie, Christos always laughs when I am crying during emotional movies!!!

The Hughley's isn't a show I remember seeing, Vivie. Hope you enjoy it. :)

Did you figure out your class schedule?

Hi,
Yesterday was "Mardi Gras" in France (the literal translation is "Fat Tuesday"... ) and we used to prepare some "Crêpes" (sorry i don't know the name in English...)
So my wife prepared the paste and i helped to cook...

Crêpe B face :

After, you can do what you want :
Eat sweetened with : sugar, marmelade, chocolate or fruits like bananas...
Eat salted with : ham, melted cheese, egg or what you like...

Hmmm... too much delicious...

Lia, I hope you had as good time as I had in the weekend :D

Vivie, name Huglies didn't ring a bell on my head either  I don't know the show.

Pifou, you could maybe call them thin pancakes or flapjacks :) In Finland we use the word "Crepes" too in the restaurants.
I can almost smell the pleasant smell there. Brings water to my mouth :D

In france we eat "crepes" at "Mardi Gras" (last Tuesday of february ... not sure)
and at "chandeleur" (Candelmas - 40 days after Christmas...)

PS: for "Mardi Gras" i found here that it was "Shriven Tuesday" or "the night before Lent",
what about "Pancakes Day"? ... which more correspond to us ;)

See you!

We call them Crêpe's too, Pifou.

These pastries (called Paczki's) can be found here the day before Lent (Fat Tuesday).
I had one that was filled with chocolate custard. Delicious! :D

hah!I've had these too Pif..we call them crepes too..

my favorite is with chocolate paste.
you made me want one this very minute! when I go to return the movies, I will search for a creperie to take one...hadn't one for nearly a year..and my mouth DEMANDS for one...

gail : yes I did figure it out all right, but I'm feeling like it's a jungle...maybe I will shot some pictures from enrollment day next time , to see what animals we are....
two days past this day , and my foot still hurts when I walk...the throng of students despairing for a number , is too damaging..:(
