Still-Life

Postby NiniendoLeibowitz » Thu 29 Dec 2005 14:18

Well, for my new year... I'm playing Still-Life. All I can really say is that this game is absolutely crappy.

The graphics are dated, and the audio is just so-so. The puzzles are completely horrendously designed and irritating. And the story, apparently, I've been able to figure out so much with just a couple of hours... there's no more mystery.

Oh geez... how do I get my time back?

Hang in there to experience the laser puzzle and let me know what you think.

The laser puzzle? Big deal... I did it, with a mouse. I don't think there's a really huge deal about the difficulty. You just have to learn to hold the mouse button instead of just plain clicking.

Quick, yes. But then, the game gives you ample time anyway. Just don't dilly-dally, and you'll be fine.

lol... Hey, it WAS a big deal to all the people that could not pass that puzzle and asked for saved games. ;) Congrats... you did it on your own.

(Before you ask, "No, I didn't need a saved game.") ;)

Hmm... I just think they played that part the wrong way. To think my mouse buttons aren't exactly in good order... I guess reflex is also one aspect, but there's really ample time to do it.

I liked that game. I didn't need any saved game, either. Well, since I don't know much about the making of the games my standards are not very high and I can be satisfied with such games like "Stll Life" . I am even looking forward to its part II - which I think will come sometime later because I didn't see any clear END in the game.

What I dislike are the extremely difficult puzzles that some adventure games include.

I think a sequel is highly unlikely unless a studio goes out of its way and picks up this disaster of a game.

Stale-Life, as I often call it... may never see the light of day, and quite frankly... I wouldn't have it any other way.

You can change the look through your profile by using "stilllife2"
