Zack and Wiki (Wii) - take any old fashioned adventure game, remove the plot and humor and there you have it. Z&W is a puzzle game, each area contains a chest you need to get. You need to study the level mechanics (usually by killing your character, Zack that is, accidentally) and once you're done it's time to move on to the next level. You gain money by exploring and between the levels you can buy hints and extra lives (i.e. killing yourself accidentally won't be the end when you use the ticket). So basically, if a) you own Wii and b) love adventures - get this one!

Right now I'm selling most of my Wii games but I've spent time playing Everybody's Golf on PSP and it's quite nice actually.

Regarding Dreamfall...
Personally I really enjoyed this game. The developers brought some new and refreshing ideas for gamers via Dreamfall. There are a few areas where you need to keep hitting two keys repeatedly to complete a part of the game. My hands got sore trying to do this. The main character from the Longest Journey does appear in Dreamfall but her role is minor, which was a surprise.

@shelloz :
SCHIZM II Chameleon is a Myst like... i give four stars... Image

Dreamfall is the sequel of The Longest Journey and is a Syberia like... i give four stars to both of them... Image
as Gail said, challenges in the game are not so difficult, you need to hit repeatedly keys left-right left-right left-right rapidly... :wink:

@Niniendo :
What's your feeling about Tomb Raider Legend ?

Tomb Raider Legend is a nice exploration game. Lots of mountain scaling and puzzle solving but it's not always a take it easy slow game. There are portions it pushes the action and there are plenty of enemies. My first Tomb Raider games are on Wii and I prefer the controls on Anniversary for Wii than Legend on Cube. I also played Underworld on Wii and although the game allows you to savour the moments, it's just real glitchy.

Legends does not have the best of graphics at this point but it is serviceable. It should provide you with some nice breath-taking views and some interesting puzzles to solve although they are never really complicated. I like the mountain scaling and the interactions with backgrounds. The action parts could take some getting used to.

I only played Penumbra demo on Linux and it looks really polished and nice. It's also fairly creepy. Pifou, I suggest you check the website and order it from the site. I think it's the only way Linux gamers will get it.

If you can, buy the Linux version as we need to help support Linux gaming.

EDIT:
Also adding to my watch list is Disaster: Day of Crisis (Wii)

Yes. Everyone always considers Microsoft which is why the game studios that do Linux versions need to be rewarded. :D We have Linux game discussions in the Phoronix forums and in fact we are mostly trying to help out developers in the forum that can port to try and bring more titles to Linux. It's a difficult road and I just think that the more games go to Linux, the better. Penumbra is very polished for a Linux title. It deserves a nod.
