Language Settings?

Postby chibiart » Sat 24 Mar 2007 19:47

I was wondering whether you could change the language of this game at all? Are there any settings I could play with?

Or, is there anything I could download to change the language? Like, a language pack?

First:Welcome among us,chibiart. :D

where are you from?

take your time to introduce yourself here if you please.

about your questions:

Afaik isnt possible to change idioms(nor speech neither subtitles),since

Syberia and its sequel arent multilanguage. In fact, they both have been

released in european several countries, each of them with the proper

language only.No official language packs available,am afraid. So,even if you

could substitute subtitles files, you'd need the version with language you

are interested(btw....which is it?),in any case,and having it,obviously you

could play that one instead.

hope somehow my post will clarify a bit.

I'm from Romania and I thought that will be very nice for Romanian kids to play the game with Romanian subtitles. They could understand better the storyline and can take more logical actions in puzzles. So, isn't there any way to edit the subtitles (without the sound and voice acting)?

I tried going on language settings from control panel and turning it to English, but it doesn't work.
