I started to install Syberia 2 and it froze at 42%, I stopped it and tried to delete the 42% so I could try installing again. It won't delete.

1) Why did install stall?

2) How do I get rid of all files so I can reinstall?

What I've done so far: I uninstalled from setup.exe, I uninstalled from ADD/REMOVE, I have run a registry cleaner 3 times. It is still there.

I really want to play this game... can someone help me? :(

If I put the disk in the drive and try to install it it only shows PLAY not INSTALL because it thinks I have it already.

I'm running with XP and I have all the correct ram and disk space. I just finished Syberia I

Welcome to the Syberia forum. Can you use the "system restore" option in XP to go back to an earlier date?

Hello Barbee,

1) the only time i have seen an game installation uncomplete was because of a defect on the cd/dvd...
Take a careful look at the surfade of your game cd...
2) as install is not correct, --> uninstall will fail as well...
try to delete the directory and files (c:/program files/Syberia2) directly from Windows Explorer and give a try to RegCleaner...
3) Gail's solution is a good solution too... ;)

Good Luck
pif ;)
