I was just replaying S1, when I encountered the slightly infamous "bandstand puzzle" which is, frankly, ridiculously simple. If you have a look around the interior of the stand, however, it's fairly obvious that it was originally designed to be much more complex: something about placing blocks on the spinning wheel probably - there's even what is most likely a set of instructions on the wall to the left, as well as a few loose blocks on the floor.
One can only speculate as to why they removed the bandstand puzzle - time constraints, probably. This is my one disappointment with this game: the relative lightweight puzzles. It's a bit odd: a game about machines and clockwork, and very few machine/gear puzzles....
So, has anyone noticed any more of these lost/unimplemented puzzles?
(I guess this goes for Syberia 2 as well, although that is a fair bit stronger in the puzzle department in my opinion...)
