Finished the demo yesterday. It was so short. No discussion options? Pixel hunting? Not good, not good at all. The graphics were stunning though. The FMV at the beginning of the game made me think whether it's possible to run it in real time on modern machines.

The demo was honestly much better than the final product. Over all, I was not impressed with either one, though.

Regardless of whether or not people argue about Microids not having enough time to finish developments of the game, what people get is the cut developers deemed releaseable.... and I'm not happy with the end result.

People, i have some very disturbing news...
Yesterday i've installed an old (1997) game titled "Blade Runner". And it resembles Still Life so much that i was shocked, really. It's an adventure. Action takes place in future... But that doesn't really matter.
What matters is that you start the game arriving at the crime scene in the police vehicle (it flies) and the layout of the place looks pretty much like Still Life's first screen. There's even a cop near the entrance. Entering the car, you see quite the same sort of thing we have in Still Life, the map with the spots available for travelling to.
As the game proceeds, new spots appear on the map. Then, there's a hero, our protege, who's got some sort of computer, just like the one in Still Life. It even has same functions, navigation, look-alike buttons, etc.

I have to conclude, that Still Life game is but a clone of the one i briefly described. Prove me wrong, please.

Sunich, I thought exact the same thing but in other way while playing Still Life for the first time. "I've seen this somewhere before and *bingo* - Blade Runner!" But then again, how may stories begin at the murder scene - a lot.
